Naira Marley was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on the grounds that he (Naira marley)

Ever since his arrest Naira Marley's fans known to be called Marlians have taken to social medias to air their concern for their mafian who was arrested earlier this month for his release.
Apparently it is said that Naira Marley advocates for yahoo boys in Nigeria and promotes the so called 419 or internet fraud activities which in the other was waved off by colleague in the Nigeria music industry by name Ruggedman, saying that this ill mannered activities practiced by the youths is negatively affecting Nigerians in diaspora.

Marlians are advised not to rejoice yet because Marley hasn't been acquainted of the alleged crimes labelled against him. He was just granted bail; the temporary release of an accused person awaiting trial, sometimes on condition that a sum of money be lodged to guarantee their appearance in court.
According to The Punch the witnesses would give evidence of their investigation, tender exhibits and reveal their findings to the court.
Three of the witnesses were said to have taken the defendant’s and witnesses’ statements.
The remaining are representatives of MasterCard, Visa Inc and Guaranty Trust Bank, who are expected to tender relevant card and account details of the defendant to the court.
After his arrest, the anti-graft agency filed 11 charges against Naira Marley bordering on alleged cyber-crime and identity theft.
The alleged crimes were in contravention of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act and the Cyber Crimes Act, which the artiste risks seven years in jail if found guilty.
Section 33 (2) of the Act, which Naira Marley was accused of contravening reads, “Any person who uses: a counterfeit access device; an unauthorized access device; an access device issued to another person; resulting in a loss or gain commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of not more than seven years or a fine of not more than N5,000,000.00 and forfeiture of the advantage or value derived from his act.”
The charges with suit number FHC/L/178C/19 were filed before a Lagos State High Court.
Naira Marley was granted bail after 10 days upon application by his counsel Mrs Taiwo Oreagba and was officially approved by Justice Oweibo. The bail was set at N2,000,000. (Two million naira only) and currently Naira Marley is set free from custody not acquainted.
